Disneyland Day 1
After a long morning at Disneyland, we hopped over to California Adventures. We went soarin' over California, braved the Ferris Wheel to see the park from new heights, took lessons from Goofy at Goofy's Sky School, and more!
Once we did all we wanted at the parks, we headed to Downtown Disney and looked around. Music filled the streets as we walked from store to store, exploring all the wonders it had to offer.
Finally, once we realized our feet and legs couldn't take any more, we walked home, stopping by The Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory to get a Valentines day treat.

Universal Studios Hollywood
We went to Universal Studios on Saturday, Feb. 11th. It is so cool! On the Studio Tour we got ourselves in some sticky situations like being caught in a fight between King Kong and a Dinosaur, a flash flood, and Psycho in action! It was cool to see all the behind scenes, too!
We caught a ride in Krusty Land and prayed Liv wouldn't puke. Then we skipped on over to visit T-Rex and plunged over an 84-foot vertical drop on the Jurassic Park ride. Dad got soaked, Mom covered her face the whole way down, and Liv and I screamed. Liv then begged to go again, so Dad stood this one out. We then went on the Mummy ride which takes you on a pitch black roller coaster every dircetion- including backwards! Needless to say we did not go on the again.
We saw Shrek 4-D and experienced an amazing stunt show in Water World. After a long day, we walked through Universal Citywalk below the park and then headed home.
On a sad note, we were a mile away from Beverly Hilton where the body of Whitney Houston was found early that day. HORRIBLE loss to the music world.

Anaheim Vacation- getting our wings
At the beginning of our adventure to Disneyland,we started by flying out of SEATAC airport Feb 10, 2012 at 8:05. We were planning to meet a friend Greg Wright, a Captain for Alaska Airlines. He was flying out to Arizona that morning. Pary mention to his wife, Colleen, that we might want some wings (like they give kids). Liv heard this and wondered if they would be "hot wings". We had a good laugh over this one. Greg met us in the airport, took us to his plane and led us down to the cockpit. It was awesome!! Then we went back to our plane. The funny story on our flight was that we were seated next to some people who were going down to see Patsy and Larry. What would be the odds of that?! John Wayne Airport is the only way to come to Orange county, nice and calm!! It was 75 degrees when we got here. We had 4 hours to kill before our room would be ready, so off to the beach we went!!
